Foamed Glass
Foamed glass is a high-grade insulating material obtained by using glass powder as the base mixed with appropriate amount of foaming agent before baked and foamed in the turnel kilns and afterwards cooled and annealed. It is featured in independent air-clearance structure. Since it has completely retained the non-organic glass's chemical stabilities, it is featured in low volume capacity, small heat conductivity, none moisture permeation, none water absorption, none flame, no mold, resistance to rodents and high mechanical strength, capable of resisting all chemical corrosion except for hydrogen fluoride.

Application
Foamed glass remains the same property in a wide temperature range and it resists the moisture, fire and corrosion. It is widely used for low temperature and cryogenic pipe, equipment and tank store and transport for LNG, liquid nitrogen, liquid ethylene, tank base bearing and insulation for big volume tank insulation and acid-resistant lining system for chimney in power plant. It is given the name of a permanent insulating material that never needs replacement.
